Service Description
Bring your team together for a creative experience that goes beyond the typical team-building event. Our Corporate Glaze Parties offer a relaxed, hands-on atmosphere where employees can unwind, connect, and create a one-of-a-kind pottery piece to keep. We bring the pottery, glazes, supplies, and instruction directly to your office, conference center, retreat, or event venue. Participants will choose from a selection of handcrafted pottery pieces and customize them with their own colors and designs. Once the event is complete, all pieces are professionally kiln-fired and returned ready to use and enjoy. Our guided process is designed for beginners and experienced creatives alike, making it an inclusive activity that encourages conversation, collaboration, and creativity. Each piece is collected by the host at the end of the session to be kiln fired and available for delivery/shipping within a few days depending on size and quantity of pieces. What's Included: This package includes 5 participants. An additional 20 participants can be added. Cancellation Policy
40 Clay Co. – Glaze Party Terms & Conditions By booking a glaze party with Forty Clay Co. (“40 Clay Co.”), you (“Customer”) agree: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Remaining balance is due prior to the event. Final guest count must be confirmed in advance and will be used for billing. Customer Cancellation / Rescheduling: Deposits are refundable based on cancellation timing: 14+ days—full refund; 7–13 days—50%; 3–6 days—25%; within 48 hours—no refund. One reschedule may be permitted based on availability. Company Cancellation / Weather: If 40 Clay Co. cancels due to unforeseen circumstances or weather, the Customer may reschedule or receive a full refund. Short-notice weather rescheduling may occur. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued. Minimums: Parties require 5 guests or a $250 minimum. Smaller groups are welcome, but the minimum charge applies. Timing: Events are scheduled for a set duration. We kindly ask guests to wrap up and exit promptly at the scheduled end time. Guest Responsibility: The Customer is responsible for guest behavior. We reserve the right to end events early for unsafe or inappropriate conduct. Damage: The Customer is responsible for damage to 40 Clay Co. property caused by themselves or guests beyond normal use and agrees to cover repair or replacement costs, including materials and labor. Handmade / Kiln: Pieces are handmade and will vary. Cracking, warping, or glaze changes may occur. Final results are not guaranteed. Pickup: Items are ready in ~2–4 weeks. Unclaimed items after 30 days may be discarded or donated. Liability: Participation involves inherent risks. The Customer accepts these on behalf of all guests. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 40 Clay Co. is not liable for injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, including acts of nature, third-party actions, or misuse of tools. Food, Drinks & Alcohol: Guests may bring food and beverages. Drinkware, plates, and napkins are provided. Alcohol is permitted, but 40 Clay Co. does not supply or serve it. The Customer is responsible for legal compliance, including preventing underage drinking and ensuring safe transportation. Charcuterie may be purchased as an add-on. 40 Clay Co. is not responsible for food allergies or reactions. Trash receptacles are provided; please dispose of trash properly. By booking, you agree to these terms and to communicate them to all guests.
